Many students reported with great consternation a bunch of “new,” significantly harder math problems on the June 2026 SAT, especially in Module 2. Problems in advanced geometry and some concepts and problem-solving skills in early precalculus left many students scratching their heads, and many more miffed that they hadn’t been adequately prepared.
As it turns out, the issue wasn’t that these more advanced math problems were new, per se, but rather that they were emphasized more on the June 2026 SAT than on any prior exam. Consequently, to help prepare you for their likely recurrence on the next several SATs, here are some sample problems for you to practice on and from which to learn.
If you need help solving any of these problems or with understanding the concepts on which they’re based, we’re here to help!
