Fall Semester

  • Consultation
    • Researching colleges
    • Visit schools
      • You don’t need to know exactly what you want yet! It’s good to look at a mix of different schools— large, small, in the city, liberal arts, top sports, etc.— to figure out what feels like you.
    • Come up with a testing plan for the future
    • Athletics, health & fitness, community service, summer experiences
    • AP tutoring and essay-editing

Spring Semester

  • Consultation
    • Plan school visits for spring and summer
    • Narrow down list of schools and what type of schools you’re interested in
    • Research scholarships for juniors in high school
    • AP exam prep
    • Midterm and Finals review: Focus on learning how to study and do well on comprehensive exams
    • Using test prep books to supplement course work and make standardized test studying easy in April and May
  • Keep a folder with all your college brochures so you can go back to them later. After a while, all the info sessions and tours can blur together, so it is good to be able to review those places you’ve visited. You can also follow schools on social media to get a better idea of what daily life is like on campus and what kind of events the school throws.
