The number of applicants to U.S. colleges has risen every year since the 1990s, driving national acceptance rates to intimidating all-time lows, but with this Handbook, students can still differentiate themselves and stand out from the competition,

"The handbook is a must-have for filling out the CommonApp! It provided tips that I wouldn't have found online. My application is more polished and professional than it would have been without it."

— Nate Weeks

"I was initially skeptical that my son would get his application and essay done so soon, mostly because he has not been the most motivated or focused student, not to mention, taking a class in the summer was not his idea of fun. Surprisingly for me, during the first day of class, he texts me to say "this class is really good." I nearly fell to the floor as he had never said that about any class!! I have to say that not only did he complete his application, which is a huge weight off of his shoulders (and ours) but his essay was incredible. This is all due to Dr. Youmans' teaching style, geared toward each student, and one that is incredibly engaging, motivating and stimulating. He is able to create an environment in which learning is enjoyable and gratifying. I highly recommend this class."
